How to use group or record separator in a 2D barcode

I am using the IDAutomation 2D barcode font encoder in crystal reports. How can I insert the group separator <GS> and the record separator <RS>?

When encoding non-printable ASCII functions such as RS, GS, and EOT, IDAutomation recommends testing the result with the Barcode Decoder App because it reveals these characters in the result to verify proper encoding.

In order to encode special characters in the barcode, you can use the built-in crystal Chr() function. This allows you to place a special character in the data where the ASCII code is specified for the character you would like to encode. So for the <GS> character, you would put in a Chr(29), and Chr(30) for the <RS>.

For example, to encode a <GS> between two fields set the data to this:
[table.field1] + Chr(29) + [table.field2]

Additionally, <RS> and <GS> may be also implemented with the applicable ApplyTilde or ProcessTilde function: https://www.idautomation.com/barcode-properties/definitions/apply-tilde.html

For example, to encode a <GS> between two fields with ProcessTilde:
[table.field1] + "~d029" + [table.field2]
