Scanning issues with IDAUTOMATION39HC bar code font


I downloaded IDAUTOMATION39HC front from the net and
copied to my systems' windows/fonts folder (Using XP SP2)

I printed barcodes from my vb6 program on labels ( corresponding to alphanumeric codes,
ex: JN235, MN620 etc)

printing correctly
but when scanned some bars are not scanned (ex: MN620 or none in the range MN621,
MN 622 ETC)

SOME BARS have NO PROBLEM READING CORRECTLY
I used font size 10
tried using 11 and 12 same result

WHAT WENT WRONG

Operating System: XP SP2 & VB6 PROGRAM

kindly note that
only some bar codes are not scanned (some 50% of the total labels printed)

Verify that you are using a recommended font size:
https://www.idautomation.com/barcode-fonts/code-39/fontnames.html

12 points are recommended.

Can you post the barcodes that do not scan?
