Generate Code 128 with Servlet

I am using the Java Barcode Package’s servlet feature to stream barcode images to various applications.

I need to encode the following GS1-128 data:

(415)7709998004269(8020)0000646395(3900)0002051000(96)20151211

Locally, I have been testing the barcode using the following URL:

localhost/CodeBar/LinearServlet?BARCODE="Ê415770999800426980200000646395Ê39000002051000Ê9620151211"&ST=Y
&BAR_HEIGHT=1

When I send the barcode for GS1 verification, they keep telling me that the barcode starts with Code 128 subset B, when it should start with Code 128 subset C.

What should I do?

Operating System: LINUX

Application: JAVA

After reviewing the images you sent, I was able to use our Java Servlet with Apache Tomcat to produce a correct barcode. Please try the following to resolve the issue:
1. Make sure the BARCODE= parameter is first
2. Make sure you &PT=T is the second parameter
3. Make sure there are no spaces or quotes between the BARCODE= parameter and the data. For example, BARCODE= ~21341... would create a symbol starting in set B instead of C because of the leading space character. BARCODE="~21341... would create a symbol starting in set B instead of C because of the leading quote character.

I used the tutorial for Apache Tomcat at http://www.idautomation.com/barcode-components/java/apache-tomcat.html with this URL and it scans correct:

http://localhost:8080/servlet/LinearServlet?BARCODE=~2134157709998004269~21480200000646395~21439000002051000~2129620151211&PT=T&ST=Y&BAR_HEIGHT=1&EM=.06

You can also test your results using our online barcode generator:
http://www.bcgen.com/demo/linear-dbgs.aspx?BARCODE=~2134157709998004269~21480200000646395~21439000002051000~2129620151211&PT=T&ST=Y&BAR_HEIGHT=1

If the above suggestions do not resolve your issue, you need to obtain the latest version of the Java Barcode Package:
