How to retrieve barcode metadata from Excel


Hello All,

I am new to working with barcodes and wondered if I would be able to retrieve metadata about a product I have saved in Excel. I created my own barcodes and stored the related product metadata in Excel, now I would like to be able to scan the barcode and retrieve the product details saved in Excel. If this is possible please can anyone post links or advice on how I can achieve this.

The barcode scanner is responsible for displaying the data contained in the barcode for the desired application. To retrieve additional data in a database or spreadsheet based on the scanned output, you must use Excel's functionality to manipulate the data, such as a Find or Search command.
