What causes the barcode installer to stop at 91% and not finish?

Regrettably, there could be several causes for an installation not to complete. However, the most common reason is due to an old version of our installer. Re-run the installation until it completes. If not, use install the fonts using the Windows Install solution.


NOTE: The issue is corrected in the updated version of the font packages (released in 2014 and beyond). User may also want to attempt this solution before installing the fonts.



If you are attempting to install fonts, it may be possible to install the font using the Windows method.

Here is an Example of Installing Code 128 Fonts using the Windows Method


1. Download the Code 128Font Package Demo or Sale version.

The example displays the sale zip file named IDAutomation_C128FontAdvantage.zip.

2. Right-click the zip IDAutomation_C128FontAdvantage.zip and select Extract All.

3. Once the process has completed, a folder will open with a folder named IDAutomation_C128FontAdvantage and a file named IDAutomation_C128FontAdvantage.exe.

4. Double-click the IDAutomation_C128FontAdvantage folder.

5. Navigate to files that end with the extension .ttf


6. Left-click the first .ttf file, press and hold the Shift key, and use the down arrow key to select all of the font files.

7. Right-click and select Install.

After installation, the fonts are ready to use.
