Font does not support style 'Regular'


When using the Check Design Software with MICR Fonts or other IDAutomation Label Software, the error Font 'IDAutomationMICR' does not support style 'Regular' may occur.

Best Answer

Based on research it looks as if the font is incorrectly registered or missing. One way to test is to open another application such as Word and see if you can select the font. If not, then it is an issue with the registration of the operating system. One solution I found recommends removing/uninstalling the font and reinstalling the font. After uninstalling the font, either run Uninstall from Control Panel--Add/Remove Programs or navigate directly to your Font folder and delete the file (make sure you have a backup of the font), restart the computer, then attempt to install.
