Need Codabar that starts with D character


Scanned Codabar places an A at the beginning and a B at the end. We need it to output D as the start and stop.
The IDAutomation Codabar barcode scans as:
a810300000312b

I need the value to be:
d810300000312d

When I encode data using as a test in Crystal Reports, using:
'D'+"12345678"+'D'

The scanner displays the output:
A12345678B

By default, the scanned result does not include the start/stop characters.

When I scan the attached barcode, it produces:
810300000312

Check your scanner user manual to ensure it is not actually transmitting the start/stop characters. It might be set up to display prefix and suffix characters. If it cannot be resolved through the scanner. you will need to contact your scanner manufacturer.

If you are expecting D's as the start/stop characters, the issue is that the original characters used A and B might be preventing them from displaying as start/stop characters. I am not sure.
