Barcode C128M installation query

We want to install the font IDAutomationC128 for our ERP software Oracle R12 and reports 10g.
For this purpose could you please let us know whether we could buy it from.....

Secondly, for one database environment, would one license be sufficient? I saw in another post that each license applies to around 10,000 users. Could you please confirm this as well?

When working with Linux Oracle, IDAutomation recommends the Java Barcode Package, as it has the ability to create barcode images that may be locally incorporated into reports and includes a servlet which streams GIF and JPEG barcodes to web applications.

Barcode fonts are easy to implement on Windows systems. However, they are often very difficult to install fonts on Unix and Linux systems.

When using barcode fonts in Linux Oracle, the Code 128 Barcode Font Package may be demoed by choosing the 'Demo Now' button on the product page. Barcode fonts in Oracle Reports may be encoded using the free Oracle Reports Barcode PLL.

Hi James,

Thanks, that answer was really helpful.

One more question, The ttf file that we have on our server is named IDAutomationC128M.ttf while that provided in the Demo version is IDAutomationSC128M.ttf. We want to use the file from the demo version, so can we just rename it to IDAutomationC128M.ttf for testing purposes? because that would avoid changes in many places!

Hi

Before we buy this "IDAutomationC128M.ttf" file, could you please provide us a trial version so that we could do a dry run in our Oracle environment?
If a trial version is not available, can you please let us know where could we pick the latest version of this file from, for testing purposes before we install it in the client environment?

Thank you for writing, Ankit. You can certainly purchase the Code 128 Font Advantage Package from our online store, and download and install after your purchase is complete. This would allow you to generate Code 128 barcodes in Oracle Reports, provided you use the appropriate font encoder tool.

The 1 Developer License would be sufficient if you will have the product installed on a server with a total of no more than 10,000 users or distributions, and no more than one developer. We also offer a 5 Developer License which supports up to 5 developers and up to 20,000 total users or distributions, and an Unlimited Developer License which is unlimited in those respects.
