Space is not working with Code128


Hi,

We are using Code128 with the font -IDAutomationC128XL for generating barcodes in Oracle reports.
We are not able to encode space. Our data has some space, like sub inventory name = RAW MAT
We want one barcode for RAW MAT.
Pls. suggest how to fix this issue.

Verify that an encoder is used to format the data for Code 128.

Creating a barcode with a font requires two components:
(1) The Barcode Font
(2) The Encoder (which is a plug-in, code, an add-in, or a component that formats data)

The encoder formats the data by converting each character into another character that the barcode font can understand.

For Oracle Reports 6i and above, we have the PLL encoder.

With Code 128, the space character is encoded as the  character.
