Crystal Reports Native Linear + 2D Generator for Crystal doesn't encode ASCII character 41 (Closing parentheses)

The generator doesn't encode ASCII mark 41, closing parentheses ')' with Datamatrix 2D barcode. When reading with several barcode scanners, this mark is empty and is skipped. This occurs both when using ChW(41) function '(' should print ASCII code 41 and when using simple ')' - mark in string and with part of other text. Other ASCII marks are working fine, for example, Opening parentheses works fine. What could be the reason for this? We are using Crystal Reports 11.5.10.1263

The parentheses in Data Matrix are designed to identify FNC1/AI characters for GS1 encoding. The reason it is not recognized is that one parameter, ProcessTilde is set to 1. To encode parentheses, please set ProcessTilde to 0.

'Modify the next 3 lines to change optional parameters;
processTilde = 0

If you do need to set processTilde = 1 to encode FNC1 or other functions such as separators and EOT, enter ~d041 in place of the closing parenthesis.

EXAMPLE
Instead of using DataToEncode = "[)>~d03006", use DataToEncode = "[~d041>~d03006" to produce the closing parenthesis/right parenthesis.
