Different results of barcode-strings


We downloaded the current version of the IDAutomation_LinearJavaFontEncoder.jar and implemented the function "fontEncoder.Code128(artNo, false)" in our source code. Now we discovered two totally different results of Barcode-strings from the Java implementation and the free Barcode Font Encoder, hosted on your homepage.
For Example the String "FIS104 2100" returns in Java "ÌFIS104ÂÇ5 qÎ" while the online Barcode Font Encoder returns "ÌFIS1Ç$ÈÂÇ5ÂwÎ".
We need to know the reason for the differences to ensure that the correct string is printed in our documents.

Mirmen,

There appears to be an issue with the Code 128 function Java encoder. If you are open to alternatives, you could use the Code 128 B function instead.
