C/C++ Font Encoder For Custom Application (Not Using Windows Registry)

Through COM, we call the ActiveX Component DLLs IDAutomationMaxicode.dll and IDAutomationDMATRIX6.dll from an application that is written in C.

Since our application runs on terminal servers as well, we have trouble auto-registering the DLLs. We would like to know if there are any encoders or solutions that operate without using the Windows Registry (such as a Native Windows Font Encoder DLL).

Operating System: Windows

Application: Visual Studio, C

[Support Note: Specific client license options have been generalized in this reply]

DataMatrix:
A C++ header file (.h) for DataMatrix is available.

It may be obtained with an active Developer’s license.

MaxiCode:
• There is no C++ header file for MaxiCode.
• If you wish, your people could gain access to the source code and incorporate it into your product.

The source code may be obtained with the following requirements:
• An Unlimited Developer’s License (UDL) (with an active support plan).
• A signed Sourcecode Agreement.
