Code 39 barcode does not display the correct output


I have a Code 39 barcode *ABC/H12/I3*
generated with the IDAutomationHC39M font. It shows nicely.

The problem is when I want to scan the barcode, it shows ABC(12)3 instead of ABC/H12/I3

I need to show ABC/H12/I3 after the scan.

What should I do now?

The /H and the /I are used to encode the open and close parenthesis when using the standard Code 39 Fonts and Full ASCII 39 setting in the scanner.

To avoid this problem, use the Code 39 Extended Fonts and encode the /H and /I directly as the /H and /I

OR

turn off Full ASCII 39 in your scanner.
