Barcode Is Not Displaying In Email When Using Hosted Web Service

I am testing the hosted web service with the following call:
http://www.bcgen.com/demo/linear-dbgs.aspx?D=8018505410600000036721&BH=3&S=13&CC=T&EM=0.2&FS=10
and this renders correctly in a browser.

However when I embed the above in an email, as follows:
<img alt="" src="http://www.bcgen.com/demo/linear-dbgs.aspx?D=8018505410600000036721&BH=3&S=13&CC=T&EM=0.2&FS=10">

The bar code renders as 123456789012. Ie it is not identifying the bar code. The other parameters are identified.

Dynamic Barcode Generator Service

Since each email program handles streamed images differently, it is suggested that the hosted URL be as general as possible.

The resolution was to use HTML encoding as the email format and embed the image using a simple IMG tag:

<img src="http://www.bcgen.com/demo/linear-dbgs.aspx?D=8018505410600000036721&BH=3&S=13&CC=T&EM=0.2&FS=10">
