How to code a control character in Apache Open Office between two referenced cells

Would like QR Code when scanned to show two referenced text strings with a space between them.

So, for example, the text from cell A1, then [space], then cell A2, so that if A1="Hello", and A2="World", the QR scan would produce "Hello World"

I am using OpenOffice and the QR Code Font and Encoder Suite

The formula,

=IDAUTOMATION_QRFONTENCODER(A1 & A2)

works fine. Just need that space between them in the scanned result.

Typical OpenOffice formula would be +(A1 & " " & A2)

ProcTilde is set to 1, and EncMode is set to 1. Tried setting the cell with the QR code to both text and number formats. Also tried variations of the ASCII ~d039 code without success.

Operating System: Windows 10

Application: Apache Open Office

Simple, yet effective. Simply adding the space to one of the reference cells works fine, so long as the field is set as a text field.

Knowing that now I can then also reference a 3rd cell that contains only the space so that if A3={space}, then (A1 & A3 & A2) when scanned will successfully produce "Hello World"

Problem fixed. Thanks!

Try ~d032 which is a space.

You could also see if there is a Text setting for the column. This should allow you to enter data with space.

It will or should look similar to Excel:

OK, sent a PDF of the Bar code showing only the text values from two cells, with no space between them.
