Image Generator 1BMP Via The Command Line


We have your Linear and 2D versions of the Barcode Image Generator and want to generate DataMatrix barcodes (using the 2D version for this example) that have a bit depth of 1 (1BMP) using the command-line options.

How do we do this?

Based on the Manual for the Barcode Image Generator (given that an XML file for preferences has been saved, called settings.xml and the data to encode equal to ABC123), the command line batch file (.bat) contents might be similar to this:

"[Image Generator.exe path]" LoadValues+[xml file path]settings.xml+ABC123+[image path]test.1bmp

Pay special attention to where the quotes are used and that the file name (in the batch file text) ends in 1bmp, which is the trigger to create the file ending in .bmp, but with a bit depth of 1 (also known as 1BMP, 1 bit per pixel, or 1bpp).
