ORA 39564 Error When Using Java Barcode Package in Oracle Reports

I tried out the Java Barcode Package to use with Oracle Reports. I keep getting an error, "ORA 39564" (ORA-39564). I have added the JAR file to the REPORTS_CLASSPATH.

I did not know if it was my implementation or the Java package.

Do you have any suggestions?

Operating System: Windows

Application: Oracle Reports

The ORA-39564 error occurs if the Java classes being used are not compatible with each other. Make sure you are using the classes from our jar file to resolve the issue.

You can further find the exact Java version by 'unzipping' the jar and looking at the manifest's Java version used in the compilation (here is an example using the Demo Java QRCode Barcode Package, IDAQRCode.jar):

Manifest-Version: 1.0
Specification-Title: Java QRCode Barcode Package
Created-By: 1.4.2_07 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)
Implementation-Title: Java QRCode Barcode Package
Specification-Vendor: IDAutomation.com, Inc.
Specification-Version: 2010
java-Bean: True
Implementation-Version: 2010
Name: com/idautomation/qrcode/QRCode.class
Implementation-Vendor: IDAutomation.com, Inc.
