How to Add the L# label number and T# total number of labels using the Label Software?


I need to generate barcode labels with barcodes and I also need to display the label number and total labels.

Example Label 2 needs to say:

"Label 2 of 8"

To create a label that includes the Label Number and Total Labels,

Set up the label to use:

(1) an External Data Source

or

(2) an Embedded Data Set



1. After setting up the data through External Data Source or Embedded Data Set, place a Text field on the label.

2. Right-click the Text and choose Properties.


3. Select the Value tab. Set the Value Type to Formula. The 8 signifies the total amount of records in the External Data/Embedded Data database.

To set the label number, use L#
To set the total labels, use T#

"Label " & L# & " of " & T#

4. Select Apply and OK.
