Label Software Error: The application was not able to load a required virtual machine component, please contact the publisher of the application for more information

Using the 2009 version of the Barcode Label Design Application and this error started occurring today. Did not make any changes.

Ben	Best Answer As of 4/2015, it is not exactly clear what is causing the issue. Based on some research, the error seems to occur when the Barcode Label Software is installed on Virtual Machines and conflicts with a new Windows update. One of the solutions may resolve the issue: • Uninstall the Windows update. • Upgrade to the latest version of the Barcode Label Software. Old versions of the Label Software should be updated. To learn about the latest version, view the Release Log. If unsure the updated version will resolve the issue, download the demo version of the Barcode Label Software.
