I need to create a barcode with F5 function (keyboard) plus digit 1 and ENTER (cr)


We are a large wholesaler, using Symbol's L4578 wireless scanner (usb). We need to create a data sheet with 15 or 20 barcodes with the above commands.
The idea is to enter the ITEMS quantity in QUICKBOOKS POS.
The Barcode will have the following code:
F5+ 1 ENTER and the next BARCODE WILL be = F5+ 2 + ENTER and so on.
This is to avoid going to keyboards to enter the number of items sold (by each line) in pos software.
We did have a data sheet that worked but last year we upgrade from XP TO W7 and the scanner could no longer do it. Also, we switched from keyboard wedge scanners (psc rf 1000 -discontinued) to Symbol's L4578.
Is your barcode label software able to emulate these commands?

Function keys can be encoded as Code 128A or Code 39 Extended using the SC5USB wireless scanner. However, I do not know if the L4578 can use the same procedure to encode the F-keys. The Carriage Return is performed by scanner default. If you want to encode your own carriage return, use $M in a Code 39 barcode with Extended ASCII enabled in the scanner.

Here is an example that encodes F5+ 1 + Enter using the Barcode Creator.

S is for Symbology/Barcode type. It is set to 1 for Code 39 Extended/ASCII.

D is for Data To Encode. The data that will generate the barcode.
