Barcode font not rendering when exported to PDF in SSRS

When I display the barcode, I see the encoded data and not the actual barcodes using your .NET and Font solution for SSRS.

Operating System: Windows 8

Application: Reporting Services

Note: A new product (SSRS Native Barcode Generator) has been released since this post was resolved that offers an easier method of generating barcodes in SSRS without fonts or other components.

When printing fonts to PDFs for Reporting Services, there are some requirements. Take a look at this Microsoft post that describes the issue and possible solution.
