Do you have a COBOL font encoder?


I use the isCOBOL environment to print my barcodes. When I load an IDAutomation UPC/EAN font, something prints out, but it is not scannable.

When I create the font in Word (using the Add-In), I get a perfectly scannable UPC barcode.

When I create a barcode in Crystal Reports (using the UFL), I get a perfectly scannable UPC barcode.

Why is this not working in COBOL (isCOBOL)? Do you have a font encoder for COBOL, in general?

IDAutomation has established integration methods for Crystal Reports and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) but does not supply a COBOL font encoder or provide implementation support for manual encoding, as it is outside the scope of support.

The recommendation is to download the VBA font encoder's .bas file and translate a UPC or EAN function into COBOL.
