UPC CODE + CHECK DIGIT is it calculated or do I have to calculate it?


I want to buy the UPC barcode font, but I want to know if I have to calculate the Check Digit or if your font is able to do that.

Fonts do not actually have the ability to perform a calculation. All a font can do is change the look of existing characters. One of our font tools will need to be used to format the data for the font so a readable barcode will result. For UPC/EAN IDAutomation encoding tools will calculate the check digit.

If Word or Excel is being used, I would recommend using our Word and Excel Barcode Macro. Please refer to this page for the download and tutorial.
