Dynamically Generate 2D Barcodes in Google Sheets


We have the need to scan a set of barcodes into a spreadsheet (into the first column) and have a 2D barcodes such as QR Code or Data Matrix in the cell immediately to the right (next column to the right).

We see you have a Native Barcode Generator for Google Sheets that supports Codabar, Code 39, Code 128, GS1-128 (UCC/EAN 128), Interleaved 2 of 5, MSI and Postnet- but none of those are 2D barcode types. Do you have any other suggestions?

Operating System: Windows, Mac OSX, Linux, Unix

NOTE: IDAutomation now offers 2D barcodes including GS1, Data Matrix, QR Code and PDF417 in the Native Barcode Generator for Google Sheets in addition to the linear 1D barcode types.

Using Google Sheets in conjunction with IDAutomation's Dynamic Barcode Generator Subscription is also a great way to dynamically stream barcode images directly into a cell. Refer to the Google Sheets Streaming Barcode Integration Guide for more information.
