Resolved Questions

Barcode package process is not working in PDF Reports

We have an existing RDF Report and the concurrent program output is PDF. We have a requirement to display a barcode few fields. I used one formula and wrote a code like below. I also wrote a format trigger to display barcodes in PDF reports.

function CF_SD_BCFormula return Char is
begin
srw.reference(:c_ship_date);
return IDAUTOMATION_UNI.CODE128 (123,false);
end;

function F_Ship_date2FormatTrigger return boolean is
begin
srw.set_font_face('barAdvSUniS');
return (TRUE);
end;

The concurrent program always errors out with the below error. kindly help me with this.

stat_low = 6
stat_high = 0
emsg:was terminated by signal 6

I got a solution when I changed the Concurrent program output as Postscript.

I am not familiar with the error message.

Based on the information, it appears that you are using an old version of the Universal Fonts with the Universal PLL for Oracle Reports. Are you generating barcodes in Oracle Reports? If so, what version? The UFL is compatible with Oracle 9i and up.

If you are using Oracle 6, consider using the standard PLL with Code 128 Fonts.
