Data Matrix not Rendering in Crystal Report Print from Server


Printing a crystal report from the server doesn't properly display the data matrix barcode. if I preview it shows the code correctly, but once printed, it shows a bunch of symbols.

Operating System: Windows Server 2008 R2

Application: Crystal Reports

Have you tried another printer as a test? Sent it to PDF as another test.

It's when it's actually printed to the printer. I tried this method before with test data.

It is difficult to tell what is occurring.

When does the issue occur? When printed to a physical printer or when the report is sent to PDF?

As a test, set the DataToEncode to "12345ABCDE" and remove any database connections. Send the file to us: Contact Us

Attach a screenshot of the characters that you see.

When does the issue occur? When printed to a physical printer or when the report is sent to PDF?

If the printout displays data similar to :

then it is an issue with embedding the font to PDF (if you are generating a PDF).
