Do you provide support for 2D barcode integration with Oracle BIP/JDE?


We use Oracle JDE ERP and Oracle - BI Publisher to create reports. We have a need to print 2D barcodes in the BIP report output. There is no standard feature within Oracle BIP to generate 2D barcodes. Oracle support advised that we use a 2D barcode encoder that will fetch data from JDE and generate and print the 2D barcode in the Oracle BIP output. Have you done a similar integration before? Do you provide support for 2D integration with Oracle BIP/JDE? Also, we are trying to evaluate the possibility of doing the above. Also, do you have a sandbox or a standalone encoder that we can use for testing and see if it will work for us? Will you be able to share your expertise on our requirements? Thanks for your time and help in looking into our request.

The attached document has a 2D barcode, but that is only an image. This is the end state we are hoping for. The output is from Oracle JDE BIP

We do not directly provide support for Oracle BIP/JDE, but we do have general guidelines you can follow in the Tutorial Links from Oracle BI Publisher Blog found in the Integration Guide for Oracle Reports.
