Application error in Crystal Reports using QRCode Font Encoder


I purchased a developer license of the IDAutomation QRCode Font & Encoder. I try to generate a QRCode in Crystal Reports 10 and I receive an application error "Unhandled win32 exception occurred in crw32.exe".

Follow the procedure below to resolve the issue of "Unhandled win32 exception occurred in crw32.exe"


Go to the Windows System Properties.

For Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Windows Server 2003 right click on My Computer and select Properties.
For Microsoft Windows Vista, right-click Computer and select Properties.

Then select Advanced System settings.
Select the Advanced tab.
Click the Settings button in the Performance area.
Select the Data Execution Prevention tab.
Select the "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services" option and click OK.
Reboot the computer.
