Crystal UFL or DLL error on 64 bit PCs


I receive the following error: "u25idautomation.dll that implements this function is missing" when I run my application on a 64-bit laptop whereas it would run perfectly on a 32-bit PC.

IDAutomation has been unable to reproduce this error, however, the following implementation will resolve the issue:

Use the Crystal Native Font Formulas instead of the UFL. This does all the same encoding right inside the report and does not require any external files.

An additional method of overcoming this error is to use the Native Crystal Barcode Generator. This does the same thing as the Code 128 font, except it can create barcodes without any fonts or UFLs. I suggest using this instead because it truly will not matter which computer it is run on.
