How to get Barcode for page-number in XML Publisher Report


Hi,

We have a requirement to get Barcode 128 in Oracle XML Publisher Report. That report is a Payslip Report of Employees.
The barcode consists of 4 fields out of which 2 fields are fixed which I can get from the database directly, and for them, I am able to generate and test Barcode 128 correctly.
I have used this for it.
<?format-barcode:concat(BG_ID,ROWNM);’code128c’;’XMLPBarVendor’?>

The other 2 fields are the current page number and the total pages for that employee in a report, and these fields are identified in the report using xml object <?fo:page-number?>. How can I get barcode 128 for it? Is there any other breakthrough for this?

IDAutomation does not support XML Publisher. However, to generate the Code 128 barcode of the page number and total pages, you must pass the values/fields to the encoder.
