IDAutomation2D font not recognized by Business Central

We have recently put into production label printing in Business Central On-Premises (v21.6) with QR code using font IDAutomation2D. We purchased a developer license from IDAutomation and installed it on the production application server, after completing testing using the demo license on the test application server.

In production, we're seeing an error that never occurred during testing. The error is that some labels (seems random) will be printed without QR code font. It looks like the report in Business Central doesn't recognize the installed font when the report is generated. Please see the attached screenshot.

This seems to be a server-side issue, i.e. it's hard to imagine that this is a coding issue because there's no reason why the code shouldn't consistently generate the QR code. We have implemented the Microsoft Business Central API as detailed here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/developer/devenv-report-add-barcodes?tabs=1d.

We are a bit stumped with this issue and are basically wondering if anybody else has experienced a similar issue with printing labels from Business Central On-Premises and may know the cause of this error. We are using label printers from Zebra (ZDesignerZD421).

Brant	Best Answer Are you using Word or RDLC Layouts to print the reports from Business Central? We have not seen an issue like this before where the font is working on one page of the same report and not another. We recommend rebooting all systems the IDAutomation fonts are installed on and then trying again. If the same problem persists, edit the layout, deselect the IDAutomation font, and then reselect it. If that does not work, try a process of elimination using different printers and different systems that are generating the print job.
