Printing a PDF417 barcode in Firefox seems to be different than printing in IE?

Printing a PDF417 barcode in Firefox seems to be different than printing in IE -- the thick bars at the beginning and end are separated into narrow lines. Barcode won't scan. How to fix this in FF?

Using the JavaScript generator in a PHP script. The barcode shows fine on screen, but when printed the thick bars are separated into narrower bars. Seems like it could be a font or spacing problem, but not sure. In any case, printing from FF doesn't yield a scannable barcode.

The displayed barcode is a result of a component within the browser that uses a particular system font to structure the barcode. If there are issues with a specific browser, you could verify that the browser version is up-to-date. If the issue still remains, then it is almost impossible to resolve. We have a few options:

WOFF Web Fonts -- PDF417 Web Fonts are included in the IDAutomation PDF417 Font Advantage Package Developer License and up.

• The Dynamic Barcode Generator Service (Example of Service used in PHP)

ASP for IIS Component

Java Component
