Swedish characters ÅÄÖ in ASPX is not working

We bought idautomation many years ago and everything works fine but now we need to make some Swedish characters in the barcode but it is not displaying when reading the barcode.

For example, we use this code to render the barcode dynamically on our web.

<img src="http://local_server/render_barcode.asp?ST=D&TM=0&D=JÖRGEN ÄNG ÅSTRÖM" >
That code displays:

"JRGEN NG STRM" but we would like to have it like "JÖRGEN ÄNG ÅSTRÖM". It jumps over the ÅÄÖ.

The code in render_barcode.asp is:

Ben	Best Answer ASPX/ASP/Web products The Code 39 symbology can only encode 39 characters in the ASCII table and 128 characters in its extended set (similar to Code 128). There is no option to encode Swedish characters. Some of the characters are reserved for encoding FNC1 for GS1 barcodes. Posted 5.6 year(s) ago (0) (0) Report Abuse
