1BMP Not a True 1 Bit-Depth Image

1BMP is not a true 1 Bit-Depth Image when tested using the SaaS Subscription, ASP.NET Server Control, or Streaming Barcode Server for IIS

We have noticed that when we tested the 1BMP URL attribute (I=1BMP, from the Barcode Parameters and Properties Manual), while streaming a barcode into an application, that it wasn't a true 1 bit-depth image.

Here is an example of the I=1BMP attribute, using the live SaaS Demo (bcgen.com):

James	Best Answer The image generation process used in the Dynamic Barcode Generator as a Service (SaaS) Subscription, ASP.NET Barcode Web Server Control, and the Streaming Barcode Server for IIS is implemented by the .NET Framework and cannot be controlled directly. As an alternative, use GIF images, as they are usually very small. This is the default Image Type attribute and can be done by simply excluding the URL’s I= parameter.
