Code 128 Barcode not Appearing on Access Report

I have a report in Microsoft Access that requires the user to enter a number for the report to generate. While in the backend of Access, it works as it should. The user can click on the report name, enter the appropriate file number, and the report loads with the barcode. However, when the report is loaded through a button on the main form, the barcodes do not appear. Can anyone recommend a resolution to achieve the report loading properly from a button? Below is the code for the button.

Private Sub print_barcode_labels_Click()
On Error GoTo Err_print_barcode_labels_Click

DoCmd.OpenReport "Labels for Dead Files", acViewReport
DoCmd.Maximize

Exit_print_barcode_labels:
Exit Sub

Err_print_barcode_labels_Click:
MsgBox Err.Description
Resume Exit_print_barcode_labels

End Sub

Operating System: Windows 11

Application: Microsoft Access for 365 64-bit

I believe you are using the Native Barcode Generator for Microsoft Access. Within the download for that product is a working example of using it on a form. There should also be a button example as the implementations are slightly different. Refer to the generating barcodes on an Access form portion of the user manual.
