How to configure a QRcode with a fix dimension

Hello,

I try to configure, with the Barcode Generator for Microsoft Access, an access report with the Swiss QR code specification for new payment syste

The Swiss QR code used on invoices must have the fix size: 46mm x 46mm.

I have place in my report a Text field (T_QRcode) with the correct size (46mmx46mm) and I use the following parameters:
result = IDAutomation_NatG_QRCode(T_QRcode, Me, 28, 600)

The QR code is approximately correct, but depending the Data set to the T_QRcode.value, the size of the QR code change.
The length of the data string is variable. It contains name and addresses of the customers in the invoices.

Is there a solution to use the Barcode Generator code for Access to get a fix size QR code ?

Thank you

Best Regards

Olivier

First, I recommend setting the appropriate XDimension to at least the minimum required XDimension. Then adjust the Version to match the size requirement.

To convert mm to Mils use this converter:

Thank you Ben for this quick answer.

It works fine with the Version= 17.

An other specification for the Swiss QR code is that the minim size module must be 0.4mm.

I thought that the MILS parameter will insure this minim of 0.4mm ?
But if I use both parameter Mils=16 and Version, the barcode size change.

How can be sure that the module is bigger that 4.4 mm using only the version parameter ?

I certainly do not understand correctly the MILS parameter ?

Than you

Best regards
Olivier

To create the barcode the same size for different data, set the Version property to a size that produces the required specification (in mm).
