UPS PDF417 and Access Native Column Settings

We are creating PDF417 barcodes for use with United Parcel Service (UPS).

The barcodes we created with the Access Native product (in Microsoft Access, of course) show blank for some reason.

We have around 600 characters and it *seems* that either we have exceeded the data limit or something else is wrong, but according to my sources, PDF417 can easily hold 600 characters.

Our function call is (parameter ColumnSpecify = 5):

result = IDAutomation_NatG_PDF417(txtIDAutomationBC1, Me, 12, 300, 3, 0, 5, 0, 0, 0, 0)

Please help!

Operating System: Windows

Application: Microsoft Access

The following are recommended:

1. Expand the barcode's control box to make sure that it is big enough for the generated barcode (trial and error).

2. It is recommended to leave as many parameters at their default as possible. reset the function call to:

Default: result = IDAutomation_NatG_PDF417(txtIDAutomationBC1, Me)

-OR-

Increase the ColumnSpecify parameter to a larger number (trial and error): result = IDAutomation_NatG_PDF417(txtIDAutomationBC1, Me, 12, 300, 3, 0, 8, 0, 0, 0, 0)
