GS1 Datamatrix not recognised with activeX dll

I am using the Data Matrix ActiveX DLL with this code :


OLEObject ole_data
ole_data = Create OLEObject
Return_code = ole_data.ConnectToNewObject("IDAuto.DataMatrix")
If Return_code <> 0 Then
MessageBox("Err","DLL not found")
End If
datatoencode = "(01)306220822941941725093010XYZ0001AC"
also tried
datatoencode = "~101306220822941941725093010XYZ0001AC"
ole_data.FontEncode(arg_datatoencode, 1, 3, 0, REF ls_Data_Encoded)

But it is not recognized as GS1, the output is:
Datamatrix: e01306220822941941725093010XYZ0001AC

We have released an update that resolves this issue. Refer to the Data Matrix ActiveX COM DLL Update release log to obtain the update.
