Using the DLL to Create Data Matrix in FoxPro

I just purchased the IDA30-DL Data Matrix Font and Encoder Suite (1 Developer).

I have also followed the instructions to register the IDAutomationDMATRIX.dll using RESVR32.

I would prefer not loading the OLE Active X into a Form and instead getting access to the "FontEncode" function after creating the object. How do I set this up?

Visual FoxPro is a legacy application where the documented solutions are located here: Barcode Integration Guide for FoxPro and this has been tested by IDAutomation using the ActiveX Control for 2D barcodes.

A customer using FoxPro version 6.0 and higher including 9.0 SP2 was able to use the DLL successfully to call the "FontEncode" function and other functions via the below steps and provided these instructions for others to use as well.

1. Run REGSVR32 IDAutomationDMATRIX.dll
2. oDMatrix=CREATEOBJECT('IDAuto.Datamatrix.1')
3. Now oDMatrix is an object that I can use in VFP.

...and with VFP Intellisense, view the required and optional parameters in each function:
