Code 128 not encoding alpha characters correctly.

Recently purchased Code 128 and if numbers are sent to the code, all is good. The barcode looks and works fine. But I also need to pass alpha as well as special characters "." and "/" - and once I do that, the barcode is distorted. I'm using Visual Studio 2017.

The attached screenshot BarcodeOK.png shows what it looks like when I pass "2001001938'. And screenshot BarcodeNotOK.png is when I pass "2001.001.938".

Ensure the barcode can fit in the object. If the width of the barcode is larger than the object, several white lines or distortion will appear. Adding data will make the barcode larger.
