GS1-128 Parsing Error Appears Incorrect

I am using your Barcode Data Decoder Verifier 2023d on an Android phone to debug and certify GS1-128 symbology generated by external partners (vendors shipping cartons of product to us). The Decoder frequently fails with a GS1 Parse Error in the following situation.
String output from a Symbol scanner = (01)00029343019616(30)24
This same barcode generates a GS1-128 parse error when scanned by your Barcode Data Decoder. If I create an identical barcode with an FNC1 after the (01)00029343019616 and before the (30) the decoder parses this fine
My understanding is that FNC1 is NOT required after a fixed-length AI like (01). Is this a bug in the Barcode Data Decoder?

Operating System: ANdroid

Application: Barcode Data Decoder

Hello JTH,

Thank you for reaching out, if parsing errors occur, evaluate only the scanned data at the top of the screen which is accurate. The parsed data is calculated from the scanned data and the algorithm may not always interpret the data as desired. This is a known issue under 'App Support' on our Decoder App product page.

I hope this information has been helpful. Let me know if you have any further questions.
