How can I code Code128 in VBA barcode to multiple fields

How can I code in VBA Code128 such that a single barcode can populate multiple fields? In other words, my fields are JobNo <tab> LotNo <tab> ExpirationDate. I want a single barcode that has the data in it but I'm struggling with how to tab. Code128(ME.JobNo & Chr(9) & & Me.LotNo & Chr(9) & Me.Expire) results in a tab between the value, but all in the same field. How can I code and get:
JobNo tab to next field LotNo tab to next field and Expire all with a single barcode/scan?

Thank you

Whichever solution is used (~009 with ApplyTilde set to 1 or Chr(9)), verify the scanner has keyboard emulation enabled.

I believe encoding tabs and returns in the barcode is about all you can do. It is up to the application receiving the data to determine what is done with the data. Refer to:

Thank you; however, that is returning Data <tab> Data in the same field: not data tab to next field data.

Thoughts?

Thank you,

Functions may be directly encoded in IDAutomation Code 128 VBA Font products by enabling “ApplyTilde” in Code128 Auto and using the format ~??? to specify the ASCII code of the function. For example, Code~009Bar~013 will encode Code[TAB]Bar[RETURN]. Each ~009 will equal a tab function.
