Resolved Questions

I am creating ucc128 bar code labels and having issues changing the size of the bar codes.

Also having the same issue with any of the barcodes. Our customers require that the barcode not exceed a certain size otherwise it gets too close to the edge of the label. I have the field width size set to 3.6 and the height set to 1.635. This width is a little too much. I need to get the width to about 3.25 but as soon as it gets less than 3.6 the barcode becomes unreadable. In the past, we have been creating bar code jpg in our VB.net program and then adding the jpg to the crystal report as an OLE object. Doing it that way we have no problem making the width 3.25. however, this tends to be too time-consuming and we have had issues with our program timing out. We would rather just create the bar code directly in crystal reports. How can modify the barcode size without it becoming unreadable? Please advise. Thank you!!!

Operating System: windows 10

Application: crystal reports, visual studio, vb.net

To create very small labels according to GS1 or ucc128 barcode label specifications, we recommend the GS1-128 Barcode Font Suite. It is designed to meet any GS1 specification from the smallest to the widest allowed. The package includes Crystal Reports Formulas for easy use in Crystal Reports.
