Hello John,

Unfortunately, IDAutomation only supports the generation of barcodes using IDAutomation software. The vendor generating the barcodes may need to verify that the GS1 is encoded correctly, however, IDAutomation can only support our customers and their generation of the barcode software. Additionally, if you're having issues with your scanner, you may need to contact your scanner's manufacturer.

I hope this information has been helpful.

Hello John,

Thank you for contacting IDAutomation. I understand that the first two function characters are being sent, but it seems that the Application Identifiers (AIs) are not being transmitted as expected. I have a few clarifying questions below to further assist:

1. What application are you creating the barcode in: Excel, Access, Crystal Reports, Other (Please specify)?
2. What is the string of unencoded data used for the barcode?
3. What is the string of encoded data?
4. A sample or image of the barcode.

Thank you.
