QR-Code for Business Central Essentials v.17 on-premises

We have installed in our servers Microsoft Business Central Essentials v.17. Learned quite a while that the SaaS version includes QR fonts and encoders and can be used in any custom report without any issues. According to many forums, on-premise versions need to purchase encoders and fonts from third-party vendors. Some vendors offer demos before purchase but in all cases, I'm having difficulties using those libraries and fonts due to not being a trustable assembly. Despite I followed all the instructions, this problem persists in all the demos I've downloaded (I haven't tried yours). In regards to your fonts, I learned that there's some sort of agreement with IDAutomation and Microsoft, but I'm concerned if we purchase from you, I'll end up with the same problem, without any clue how to resolve it. There's much information over the Internet to apparently solve this problem, but seems not applicable to ERP users. How can I be sure this problem won't happen to us? Please find attached an example of the problem I'm having.

Hello and thank you for contacting us. All IDAutomation assemblies can be trusted and contain the proper digital signatures for app verification. IDAutomation provides our QR-Code Font and Encoder Suite when purchased with a minimum 1 Developer license that can be used in Microsoft Business Central as per the information located here: Barcode Integration Guide for Microsoft Dynamics 365 | Navision | Business Central

IDAutomation support for this installation will be limited to the information available at the above link, and we have not seen the error being reported when using IDAutomation products in your environment. Should you have issues with implementation, we will do our best to assist you and if you are not able to implement the products successfully, IDAutomation does have an unconditional 30-day money-back guarantee when you make the purchase using a Credit Card or via Paypal. Other forms of payment are not refundable so we would recommend that you purchase with one of those two options.

If you wish to try the DEMO package for IDAutomation, you may download that Demo here: Download QR-Code Barcode Fonts

IDAutomation cannot speak to different company's products or their demo files or advise you as to errors being received using another company's software and we would recommend that you reach out to the company providing you with the demo software for assistance with that error.

We do have many customers using IDAutomation barcoding products in on-prem versions of Business Central and the product would need to be purchased with a minimum 1 Developer license to provide you with the tools necessary for successful barcode generation.
