QR-Code with Crystal Reports using different devices


I am using Crystal Reports with a QR Code which contains two strings of data, is it possible to modify the QR Code in order to read different data using different devices?
For example, dividing the data into two layers, allowing Android or iOS devices to read the first string only and other devices such as symbol barcode readers to read the other layer? Best Regards, Bruno N.

The easiest method would be to have a different barcode type for each device. For example, use QR codes for mobile devices and use Code 128 for the symbol scanners.

If you base your barcode on the GS1 system you can use AIs to separate types of data and program each app or device to handle the data types separately.
