SSRS Data Matrix IDE ok, Deployed is not.

I just installed Data Matrix (IDA 158).
Order No. 1214865196

I’m using Format 5 at 4 points.
On the right below is the barcode generated in the IDE for work order number P133700-003.
On the left is the barcode after deploying to a server. Notice that the center-right portion is missing.
It will not scan.
Help!

Only the ASPX file is required.
(Located in the "IIS Server Side Script Generators" folder)

We definitely recommend using the script solution that can be run on the server that runs SSRS. I was involved in an investigation a few months ago with a developer in a similar situation, his deployment showed a distorted barcode on one machine but not the other. We were not able to resolve the issue but were able to move to the script solution which is included in the package.

I want to test the server-side product to compare it to the embedded product. Where, on the server, should the files be copied?

I changed the format to -1. Got a different barcode which scanned ok in the IDE. The deployed version was different as well, but still missing data.

Yes. 8pt by 1.8 x 1.8.
Bigger, not better.

The latest function is a script that stays embedded. Can you increase the point size and the size of the text object?

The barcode on the left is IDE, right is deployed.
Encoding mode = 3
Format = 5
Point size = 5
Just = Left
Portions of the right center barcode are missing. Is your function compiled before it is deployed? Or after?
Server compilation may differ from IDE compilation.

Try to left justify everything inside the barcode object (the text field) and see if that helps. Also, increasing the point size may also help on the screen. Sometimes the symbol looks distorted on the screen until it is printed or viewed at a different point size.

In your reply choose Add Image and Upload New, choose an image file to upload, and choose Add.
And finally, you must choose Add to add it to your answer.

I used the "Upload New" and it loaded the png on your system somewhere. I'm new to online forums. Your email didn't work. How do I attach an image? Art

Make sure the object is large enough to contain the entire symbol or it could get distorted. If that does not fix the issue, can you attach a screenshot?
