Why is 128 code coming out as a scientific notation?

1st time I've had this problem and can't figure it out.
16 digit number looks fine in Excel. - 3813287586376150
The resulting 128 bar code = 3.81328758637615e+15

I'm using the IDAutomation VBA macro and the IDAutomation Universal Font. Done this many, many times without a problem.
I know 16 digits can be an issue in Excel but when I get the 16 digits to display properly in Excel, I've never had the barcode then convert to the scientific notation...

Make sure the cells you are encoding are set to Text instead of the default format. You can also do a static test to make sure it is not the function itself by encoding the data directly in the function.
Example: =Code128("3813287586376150")
If this works, use a process of elimination to find the problem.
