2D datamatrix - totally black or white row

I bought the component GS1 datamatrix for Crystal Reports. I'm using Crystal Reports 2008.
I tested the code 01095011010209171719050810ABCD1234 included in https://www.idautomation.com/barcode-components/native-crystal-reports-generator/user-manual/ and the result is in the image with a totally white row.
I copied and pasted the entire datamatrix from the file IDAutomation Native - GS1-DataMatrix with HRI.rpt to create a new report and substituted the code.
Here is the substituted formula: DataToEncode = "~1" & "01095011010209171719050810ABCD1234".
I'm using Consolas font.
I tested other codes and the result was similar but with a totally black row.

This issue may occur with certain types of data because Crystal Reports VB is different than standard VB. Surprisingly, the symbols still scan so they passed the QA testing. We have updated the product to resolve this issue.

Update your Level 2 and Upgrade Subscription for the most recent versions of the following:
