Crash generating SSCC-18 Check digit in Crystal UFL using ApplyTilde

I have used IDAutomation functions in the past, so this is weird. We have installed SAP Crystal Report 2013 SP1 on a 64-bit Windows Server 2008. The UFLs are installed OK, at least seem to work in Crystal. (The functions are recognized in blue text)

However, any time I try to use the "~m17" function to get a check digit calculation, Crystal crashes with a "Crystal Reports has stopped working"

I've simplified the formula causing the crash to static data. Here's the text of the formula:

IDAutomation_Code128ApplyTilde("~2120000801234999999999~m17")

The full text of the Windows error is as follows:

Another option to implement, given the IDAutomation Code 128 Font Advantage Package was purchased, is to use the included Code 128 Auto Font Formula (IDAutomation_Formula_Code128Auto.txt) for Crystal Reports (located in the Crystal Reports Formulas folder in the original product download). The Font Formulas are a report-embeddable font encoder that is an alternative option to the UFLs.

For the implementation details, please refer to the Crystal Reports Barcode Formula Tutorial.Crystal Reports Barcode Formula Tutorial

For a typical desktop setup, the installer may be used (verifying that the UFLs were placed correctly by the installer to the system files). For a server or distributed application, IDAutomation suggests that the installation be done manually or by another process. The main point is to place the UFLs (DLLs) into the appropriate system folders, per the Linear Barcode UFL & Font Distribution with Crystal Runtime Files instructions.

I have verified that we are using the most recent version of the Linear UFL and have run the installation program for the U25IDAutomation.dll files. Do I need to install these manually instead of using the install program?

We have recently released a 32 and 64-bit compatible version of the Linear UFL. For 64-bit systems, both the 32 and 64-bit versions must be installed according to the updated Linear Barcode UFL & Font Distribution with Crystal Runtime Files instructions.
